After spending last season on loan at SuperSport United and attracting interest from Europe, now Orlando Pirates may be offering one of their striker's what could effectively be another three years on a new contract.
Zakhele Lepasa had scored a brace against Royal AM in their 4-2 win in the DStv Premiership encounter on Tuesday, and Siya sources have indicated that he is the player who's offered to stay at the club until June 2027.

The source added that his current contract ends in June next year.
"That's what they have offered him," said the Siya source with reference to a two-year deal and one year extension.
"I think the talks have started now because they want to keep him beyond next year. I think his Bafana Bafana form has also triggered the club to offer him the new deal.
"I know it's talks at the moment. When they have signed it I will let you know.
"But they have offered him that three years," the source said.
The Siya crew has recently known that Pirates were keen on keeping Lepasa.
Another source added that the two parties started negotiating when Lepasa was still on loan at SuperSport United.
"They knew they wanted to keep him for longer. That's why they didn't want him to stay at SuperSport United. And also there was interest from somewhere but the club didn't want him to leave and now they have offered him that two year plus one year option," said the Siya source.
"They have offered him and at the moment I can't say whether they have already agreed or not but the club has offered him the new deal," the source told the Siya crew.
The 26-year-old was first promoted to the senior team from their juniors in 2018 but made his senior debut in September 2019 against Chippa United.
He had also spent time on loan at Stellenbosch FC and TS Galaxy.
The Siya crew contacted Pirates for a comment but the club didn't respond at the time of preparing this story.
