South African super agent Mike Makaab has expressed his opinion on Cassius Mailula's potential move to Major League Soccer outfit Toronto FC.
Makaab feels that a move to the US would be the right one for Mailula and if he plays well there, the next destination should be Europe.
The former Orlando Pirates coach feels that it's the right time for the 22-year-old to make a move, as he's not getting younger, and stated that it would be a positive move for South African football as a whole.
Here's how the readers reacted to the "Cassius To MLS Is 'Start Of A New Era'" story:
"But we all know Motsepe's family doesn't sell, unless it's to SSU," says khosilannete0.
"The boy must go and develop his talent," says NDLOVU.90.
"The team that boy is being sent to have only one three times in 24 games. It's better to go play for Marumo here at home," says Richard pirates chavangu.
"I like the laaitie, but he must grow. It's okay," says thabot.boshielo.
"Maybe what Makaab is saying will suffice but does North America really export African players to Europe?" says makhause(2).
"That league pays lot of cash to the extent that players playing there they cannot see necessary to go to Europe. Hence, it's very rare to a player or a European team to have business with that League," responds winterv.me.
"In life, there is always a starting point. Some players if you are not aware, used the PSL as their stepping stone to go to Europe. Chiefs' most previous players did well in Europe so we should start that route again.
"As for our league paying better than some of European leagues, that shouldn't deter players going there. They need to grow as players but not only grow their bank balances. Both should be considered as they are both important.
"To chose to develop your play, it will take you further just like Lucas Radebe, Benny McCarthy and Stephen Pienaar to mention a few," says Soccer Fanatic.

Amakhosi are thought to be moving swiftly in their pursuit of Malawian winger, Lanjesi Nkhoma.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Chiefs Table R4.3m Offer For Billiat Replacement?" story:
"Khama last won a cup at Downs. Shame on you Khosi," says sonwabisogigi44.
"Khosi celebrating signings, other teams celebrate trophies. The mighty have fallen, they hail R4.3m as big spending, tjooo," says makhause(2).
"They will wait for him to become a free agent," says crronaldomphoza.
"I hope Chiefs sign him," says cliffordsibisi9.
"The player in question is playing in the lower league and for a lower club. That amount is the FIFA stipulations and as he progress at Chiefs, his value will increase. Its just like in any companies. You start with a starting salary and as you progress your values increase," says Soccer Fanatic.
"The foreign quota has been exhausted, who will be sacrificed in this instance?" says matemane.
