Lorch scored on his return to Pirates, as they overcame All Stars FC in the Nedbank Cup over the weekend.
Lorch came on for Kabelo Dlamini in the second half, making his first appearance for the Sea Robbers since August, an almost six-month injury layoff.
On the "Lorch Scores On Return For Bucs In Nedbank Cup" story, readers shared some mixed reactions:
"Dankie Mabhakaniya, Thank God Lorch is back," says @ThizaK.
"I wish to know, What did Dlamini do wrong to Pirates fans as they are always blaming him. Pule has failed to live up to expectations on too many occasions, but he's a darling of Pirates fans," says Mami@georgedale.
"Yoo thankfully Dlamini is out, the boy is playing as a sweeper for Pirates. Thankfully Lorch is back to show the boy how to play as a number 10 in a free role," says Bucs365.
"I really don't understand why the coach decides to play Mosele ahead of Ndlondlo. I've never seen a player who plays back passes the whole 90 minutes and keeps being in selected in the starting 11," says nkholojosephmatjeke.
"That is because [Riveiro] supports non creative players. Look at Dlamini, Hotto, Dzvukamanja, they can't run into spaces. This makes it difficult for Ndlondlo to make through passes.
"Saleng is a good player but he tends to make the wrong choice all the time, he needs the likes of Lorch, Erasmus and Pule around him to kinda direct his play
"But look at how he played when Lorch came, Ndlondlo was no longer playing back passes and long balls, even Saleng started playing good passes and combining well with Lorch and Pule. It's about how you put together your line up so the coach is not doing well at that," says mnisimndeniwelcome.

Mamelodi Sundowns were reportedly in for Pirates attacker Vincent Pule in a late bid during the January transfer window.
The major stumbling block in Downs acquiring Pule was the price tag set by Pirates, which wasn't suitable for Downs who were also considering the player's age.
Here's how the fans reacted to the "What Turned Sundowns Off In Pule Bid" story:
"I doubt the truth in this... Sundowns has abundance of players in Pule's place," says His Majesty Yellow PSL Beast.
"We don't need this cow at Chloorkop, he's Pirates material," says Nhlax.
"Pule is an asset to Pirates, we don't wanna lose him, the coach needs to start giving him a free role and see what he can do, because he can shoot from outside the box," says Bucs365.
"Pule is a dancer," says Saavedra, who went on to say: "He is not Sundowns material."
