Michael Loftman has been appointed by Mamelodi Sundowns as a Set-Play Coach, bolstering an already strong bench at Masandawana.
Formally at Orlando Pirates, Loftman holds a UEFA A coaching license from the English FA and Science Coaching Masters degree from Brunel University.
His appointment was made in Sundowns' efforts to raise the bar even higher and the club understands that replays and restarts play a huge role in the modern game.
Here's how the fans responded to Loftman's appointment on the "Downs Confirm New Technical Team Member" story:
"Didn't even know that Pirates had a Set pieces specialist until today," says Stil D 1 Only DSTV CHMPS.
"How much is Sundowns spending per month? how much are they gaining per month? But anyway, Mr. Motsepe is not doing this to gain profit as he said before, he wants to conquer Africa," says Bucs365.
"Michael, you're more than welcome to the Yellow Nation," says 0789397771m.
"That's very good to have a coach for Set Plays," says user250737.

Loftman's hiring prompted a holistic view at Sundowns' technical team that includes four performance analysers, two team doctors, two masseurs, and a sports therapist among others.
Loftman becomes the 24th person to join a technical team that's constantly pushing a champion side to new highs.
Here's how the readers replied on the "A Look At Sundowns 24-Man Strong Technical Team":

"While they are worried about FFP indaba i la (the news is evident). Sundowns has lots of analysts, everything is drilled down to the details, whether it's a players performance or the opposition's performance of each player, but the analysis is done to the T.
