Congolese forward Christian Saile Basomboli was officially welcomed to Naturena on Thursday by the coach Arthur Zwane and the club's Sporting Director, Kaizer Motaung Jr.
The 22-year-old will don the number 21, previously worn by Lebogang Manyama, who left the club last season.
On the "Jersey Number Revealed For New Chiefs Striker" story, the readers shared some interesting comments, with one leaving some 'advice' for the Amakhosi management...
"A piece of advice to Management, and the coach. They shouldn't put pressure on him. He needs to acclimatize to all these factors. To supporters, they need not rush him to score goals. One shortfall and you start rolling hands for substitutions, will automatically have an impact to a new player.
"Let players make mistakes so as to feel the new surroundings. Having said that, the defenders have made too many without any tangible improvements," says Soccer fanatic.
"10111, now sign Neymar Canhembe, he is a speedy, skillful and young player. There is a reason why you invited him for trials, I saw that on his videos. He is all what we need as Chiefs," says Boss Ngida.
"Manyama vanished in thin air. That jersey should not be heavy for the new guy. He needs to know there are booing boys. Settling in will require patience. But is there time? All shall be revealed soon," says mogaseaub.
