Let's take a closer look...

English coach Scott Chickelday may have only spent a month at Pirates but the goal scoring improved tremendously while he was working with the club's forwards.

The former Pirates striker coach revealed what it was like to work with the club's forwards and he reserved plenty of praise for Kermit Erasmus and Terrence Dzvukamanja.

He mentioned that Erasmus missed the right service from his teammate's during Chickelday's stint at Pirates and that Dzvukamanja, who he loved working with, is one of the best headers of the ball in the DStv Premiership.

Here's how the readers responded to Chickelday's views in the "Chickelday: I Might Get Into Trouble For Saying This, But..." story:

"I played football, strikers used to tell me how to pass the ball while in a scoring position. We played without coaches but yet we played competitive football on the dusty grounds. The current crop of players lack pride in themselves when donning the team's regalia," says aubreybotsotso, who continued:

"Players know that there is always expectations from them simply because they are here to perform and deliver. No team can sign a player while realising that he is not going to add value to the team, no it doesn't work like that.

"Dzvukamanja is a striker and it is expected of him to score goals. It is up to him to talk with his fellow team mates as to how and when to supply him with passes."

"Our number 10 was not doing justice to the position as he was passing sideways (Dlamini) but since Lorch is back I hope will provide that. Again, our number 6 is not joining enough to give those passes," says Bucs365.

Pirates assistant coach Sergio Almenara explained the tactical decision behind sacrificing Thembinkosi Lorch after Innocent Maela and Paseka Mako's position.

The Spaniard explained that Mako playing at right back was a tactical call to unlock Chiefs' defence with diagonal balls.

And with Lorch, Almenara explained that they needed a centre back to replace Maela and some fresh legs to run into space, as they had to defend with a low block with a numerical disadvantage.

Here's how the readers responded on the "Pirates Coach On Unusual 'Tactical Approach' Against Chiefs In Soweto Derby" story:

"What is Sandile Buthelezi doing at Pirates? He played beautiful football in the Nedbank Cup along side Xoki, but still he is being over looked why? Ndah was out of active football for a while but he was given preference over Buthelezi why?

"We lost against Sundowns due to similar preferences, where Mosele was preferred over Ndlondlo, why? As supporters, we pay to go to the stadium, at the end we are not rewarded, why? This thing of players favouritism must fall period. aaaag man!" says aubreybotsotso.

"At least you tried to surprise the opponent. Teams like chips and SuperSport always give us problems because their coaches plan on our predictable tactics and they always get the results," says muzi20282.

"The less said about you and your questionable tactics the better," says @ThizaK.
