Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Dominic Isaacs has stated that the Soweto giants should take advantage of Sundowns' injuries to Themba Zwane and Peter Shalulile going into the MTN8 semi-final second leg in two weeks time.
Isaacs praised Chiefs' first leg performance at the FNB Stadium and says Chiefs are improving with every game and that they'll soon be unstoppable.
Isaacs also called for supporters to learn from Molefi Ntseki and be patient, he credited the Amakhosi head coach for fining his ideal starting 11 so early in the season.
Here's how the readers reacted to the "Isaacs: Soon Chiefs Will Be Unstoppable" story:
"Just imagine... Chiefs unstoppable, like last season, they were unstoppable via Caleb's penalties," says malandle35.
"Isaacs: Soon Chiefs Will be Unstoppable - That is very true, nobody will stop them from losing more games," says peter95157.
"Let's wait for the game, talk is cheap. Rise Khosi, rise," says thamivutisanikhosa.
"It's okay if they continue giving Chiefs false hope," replies makhause(2).
"Domza what advantage are you talking about? How do you know Peter Shalulile and Themba Zwane won't be available for the second leg of the MTN8? This game is still a long way to be played. There could be some miraculous recoveries in the next two weeks.
"It's not Downs only that is nursing injuries. Chiefs also is missing Chivaviro, Dolly and Dove. Downs can afford to play the whole season without Shalulile. This is how rich their bench is. Actually, the team itself is filthy rich," says gsithole.
"Yes, Chiefs will be okay soon, but it's not like they will beat Sundowns like you said, Chiefs has more than 5 years to reach Downs' standard. Ask Dr Khumalo," says Tekenya wale downs.
"You nailed it! My legend," says khosilannete0.
Read: Why Blom Was Excluded From Bafana Squad
It was seen as a surprise when Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos did not include St. Louis City midfielder Njabulo Blom in his 23-man squad.
Broos initially picked Blom in his preliminary squad but let him out of the final squad to face Namibia and the DR Congo.
When asked by the ex-Chiefs midfielder was left out, Broos said Blom was in and out of Bradley Carnell's MLS outfit, which is something the 23-year-old refuted in a radio interview on Metro FM.
Blom was left frustrated by the lack of game time against Morocco after making the long strip from the United States.
Here's how the readers reacted to the "Why Blom Was Excluded From Bafana Squad" story:
"Why didn't he call Ngezana? Why he didn't call Sithebe, Why he didn't call Hlanti? Why he didn't call Khune, Why Why Why? Savelelelwa. Now the coach must explain the reason for not calling each player?" says thulamda.
"It's not about the names in the team, this coach is lying... Is Maela a regular at Pirates? is Xulu playing at SuperSport? is Aubaas playing regularly at Sundowns? I can go on and on...
"Broos, stop lying we can see you have your favorites. Please stop lying to us, Blom has been playing better than your favorites," replies juicecpeter.
"At Sundowns, there's Mudau, he has been playing regularly and is a top top right back, but he's always excluded, It's always Nyiko it doesn't matter that he's performing or what tell me who's the best right back in the country like Mudau? no one.
"It's not about Chiefs, Blom is not a Chiefs player anymore it's about performance this madala coach he has his favorites it's better for him not to talk about performance because his selection is not based on performance honestly," adds juicecpeter.
"You are a good player Khosi [Blom], I admire your fighting spirit and I know that if you get that chance no one will take it from you, I trust you, no doubt.
"Just keep on pushing Messi, your time will come, and you will play until you retire," says MjepaMjest.
