Following Kaizer Chiefs' 1-0 victory over Platinum Stars, supporters of the Naturena team continue to share their opinions.
Supporters Club's Lerato Mkhondo caught up with Amakhosi fan Mama Fefe, who shared her disappointment following the Glamour Boys' elimination from the title race.
Lerato: Mama Fefe, well done on the win on Sunday. However, it was not good enough to keep Amakhosi in the title race.
Mama Fefe: I'm not happy at all. It's not only about being out of the title race. It's also about the coach's tactics. Another thing I was a bit unhappy with his combination. Yes, it was good to see Masilela back in action but how he paired him with Zulu just didn't work. I think our coach's only struggle is the combination.
Despite all that, I am still behind my team. I am hopeful that there will be changes within the club and things will improve next season. Whether Komphela should go or stay, I have no say in that but I fully support my team and the decisions they make.
We saw what happened at FNB Stadium when we lost to Chippa United. Supporters allowed anger and frustration to overpower them and as Chiefs supporters, we condemn such behaviour. It is totally unacceptable. However, coaches should also learn to do the noble thing in time. Especially when they can see that it's no longer working.
We are playing in Durban (Moses Mabhida) this coming weekend and I hope to see the Amakhosi faithful in numbers. We shouldn't support our club only when things are going smoothly, our team needs us in good and bad times. We should be supportive through and through. Should Komphela get through the Nedbank Cup semi-finals, I have no doubt he will bring the cup to Naturena.
What did you think of Komphela's tactics against Dikwena last weekend?
