The fixtures for the Nedbank Cup Round of 16 were revealed yesterday and there are a several tasty encounters in store for the fans.

The Soweto Giants are pitted against Motsepe Foundation Championship sides, Casric Stars and Venda Football Academy, while defending champions, Mamelodi Sundowns are drawn against Marumo Gallants.

Giant killers Dondol Stars will hope to shock another DStv Premiership opponent when they take on AmaZulu.

Here's how the readers reacted to the draw on the "BREAKING! Nedbank Cup Last 16 Fixtures Revealed" story...

"This is good for us Dawanas (Sundowns), we do not need to play lower league teams because the trophy is not for lower league teams, therefore it is useless for us to wish for small teams. Let those who are only happy to advance to the next round knowing very well they are just accompanying Downs or Bucs," says Cutter.

"Im disappointed in Khoza, this draw is laughable. How long will soccer bosses manipulate draws or think we won't catch up with their tricks and dark arts? Its a casino system, the house always wins, we see it used by lotto, Champs League in Europe and also in Africa at group stages.

"Its no coincidence that Sundowns met Richards Bay that was second on the log and now they face Gallants, who were finalist last year, and away. While the Soweto cheats get lower division teams and at home too. Very pathetic.

"Anyway, Sundowns will win regardless , this opponent will sharpen us," says SkyKBY.

"The more desperate Chiefs is, the more silverware eludes the club, it's a tough one for Zwane," says toni.siyabulela11.

"Hope the Chiefs players will take this team (Casric Stars) seriously," says khosilannete0.

"More shocking results are coming in this Nedbank cup, watch this space," says @ThizaK.

"Good draw for Pirates and Chiefs.... But I wouldn't be surprised if one of them loses," says mtshox18.

With Khama Billiat set to face more time on the sidelines, his market value has seen a significant drop.

According to Transfermarkt, Billiat's market value has gone from around R14.5 million to R7.6 million.

The Zimbabwean star was the most valuable player in the league back in 2019, a significant drop-off for the ex-Sundowns star who's out of contract at Chiefs come the end of the season.

Here's how the readers responded on the "Steady Decline: Billiat sees R15m Valuation Drop By Millions" story:

"Injuries hampered him. He's not a bad player, never was," Sibali4Dawana.

"He committed career suicide the day he joined the ANC (meaning Kaizer Chiefs)," says Saavedra.

"He doesn't deserve to play for any PSL club. Ever since he came to Naturena, his performances dropped immensely. I no longer need him in our Khosi nation," says silungilemyeki017.

"Him and others thought they could resuscitate Chiefs and in that process, he compromised his career. He's not a bad player, never was," says Shikabala.
