Arsenal have made one of the signings of the window so far! Here's Five Things about Petr Cech.
1. Cech was born a triplet, with a sister, Sarka and a brother Michal, who unfortunately died as an infant.
2. When he was 18 or 19 years old, Petr Cech had the opportunity to sign for Arsenal. The Gunners were very interested, but because of work permit issues, he ended up playing in France.
3. His career came under threat when he sustained a depressed skull fracture. He managed to recover from it and now wears his trademark head guard as a protective measure.
4. He speaks four languages and has studied history and psychology.
