Hunt has had to make do without the services of Selaelo 'Iniesta' Rasebotja since August this year after the lanky midfielder ruptured his Anterior Cruciate Ligament, which saw him sidelined for a lengthy period.
In his absence, the likes of Patrick Maswanganyi, Siphesihle Ndlovu and Grant Margerman have been performing for Matsatsantsa.
However, the 21-year-old is making steady progress in his road to recovery and is looking to get back in contention for a starting berth at SuperSport. "I had raptured my ACL (Anterior Cruciate Ligament) in August during our match against rookies Richards Bay in Durban… I did my ACL reconstruction surgery early in September and I see immense progress on my way to recovery," Rasebotja told the club's media department.
Before his injury, the School of Excellence development product had made four appearances for Hunt's side and has targeted 2023 for his return to action.
"Hopefully [I'll be back] before the second round resumes. So the plan is to start doing field work in next month which is four months post my operation. I'm probably going to join full contact training next year," he added.
