In his short time since being employed by the club, Maluleke has already made his presence felt after helping Hunt's side to a 3-0 win over Sekhukhune United prior to the FIFA World Cup break.
Hunt's men managed to score three goals from set-pieces, thanks to the veteran midfielder who has been employed as the club's set-piece coach.
"The first week he worked with us we scored three goals from set-pieces against Sekhukhune. Its been a little bit innovative, with the view of him taking a team in the youth setup," Hunt told journalists at the Walter Sisulu Discovery Tournament launch.
The 58-year-old coach revealed that the former Black Leopards and Polokwane City midfielder will be handed an additional role in the club's development structures, where he will oversee the u19 team.
"I just feel we need a little bit of specialize in concentrating on that. What I wanna try and do is get him through the club. He's gonna take the u19 team. I'm trying to get a lot of ex-players back in the club, that's what I've always done. I did it at [Bidvest] Wits, I did it here [SuperSport] the first time. I try and get ex-players but obviously they've gotta get the right credentials, they've gotta be the right person with the right attitude and we are gonna use him and try and use him through the age groups getting the technique right of striking the ball and he was one of the best," Hunt said.
