Kaizer Chiefs midfielder, Njabulo Blom's contract saga continues and as revealed by Soccer Laduma previously, a potential move to SuperSport United remains on the cards.
Blom's contract at Chiefs is set to expire at the end of the season, which means he will be eligible to sign a pre-contract with a club of his choice in January.

This publication broke the story that Blom's camp and Amakhosi had reached a deadlock in negotiations over a new contract.
The 22-year old's agent Rob Moore, subsequently went public with the details around the impasse, in a revealing interview on Metro FM, where he made it clear that they are not happy with the financial package offered by Chiefs for his client to sign a new deal.
Moore also revealed that Blom earns significantly less than most regular players at the Glamour Boys and the Soweto giants need to meet their own valuation of the player, for him to extend his contract.
The Siya crew followed up on the matter and revealed in edition 1297 of the newspaper, that Blom has been offered to SuperSport, with Matsatsantsa having unofficial talks with Blom's camp.
SuperSport head coach Gavin Hunt has admitted that he read the reports and confessed that Blom is a type of player he likes.
Hunt worked with the Chiefs academy graduate during his spell at the Naturena-based side for almost the whole 2020/21 season before he was relieved of his duties with a few matches left of the campaign.

"I read the rumours, ja, look I mean he's contracted to Kaizer Chiefs you know, I can't really comment but I mean I would really wanna sign any good player," Hunt said in an interview on Marawa Sports World Wide.
"And he's a player that I've worked with before, I know him very well you know, converted him from the right back into centre midfield.
"Which I think it has always been his best position, that's only my opinion but he's under contract, so you know, I don't know what's transpiring, I don't like to get involved in situations like that."
However, Hunt also conceded that they would jump at the opportunity to sign Blom, should he be available.
"But ja, if it arises and there's an opportunity, yes we'd love to... (laughs). When I worked with him I liked him from day one and I thought he's got exactly what I like."
What makes Blom the type of player that Hunt likes, in addition to being able to play a couple of positions, is his ability to be disciplined in midfield and focusing more on his role as a defensive midfielder.
"For me, I'm more position specific, I know what I like in a certain are of the field, I know what wins in a certain area of the field, I know what doesn't win in a certain area of the field," Hunt said.
"And if you've got players in positions that they've got the characteristics, the make-up, I know, that just takes one piece of the puzzle and then the next one and the next one," he added.
