"Stellenbosch Football Club is delighted to announce that Head Coach Steve Barker has signed a three-year contract extension keeping him committed to SFC until 2026," the club further said in a statement.
Barker led Stellies to a remarkable and historic season in the 2021/22 campaign as the team finished 4th on the DStv Premiership log, their highest position ever in the club's history.
So far this season, Barker has led Stellies to 6th place on the standings and the team will face Kaizer Chiefs at DHL Stadium in their next match on Sunday.
