Following the departure of Sipho Chaine to Orlando Pirates on the last day of the transfer window, a replacement goalkeeper has been found for Chippa United.
After being strongly linked with veteran Nigerian shot-stopper Daniel Akpeyi, the Chilli Boys have decided on the former Kaizer Chiefs player's countryman Stanley Nwabili to strengthen their goalkeeping department.

Nwabili, 26, has signed with the Gqeberha-based outfit after he recently parted ways with Nigerian club Katsina United.
The player's representative Mohammed Lawal confirmed the signing on social media by posting an image of the keeper in a Chippa shirt and signing a document appearing to be a contract.

Following Chaine's move to Bucs, Chippa were left with Lloyd Kazapua as the only experienced keeper in their books, following the departure of Ismail Watenga at the end of last season.
