The Siya crew has been led to believe that Stellenbosch FC are eager to give out-of-favour Orlando Pirates midfielder Collins Makgaka a new lease on life.
Having turned the tide in their domestic campaign and making strides towards their maiden trophy in the topflight, Stellies are understood to have cast their eye on the upcoming season and are said to have singled out the Pirates forgotten man as a target.

Indications are that the Cape Winelands outfit strongly believe Makgaka's experience in the Premiership could help them challenge for a top four spot next season.
According to Siya sources, Stellies made an enquiry about the availability of Makgaka earlier this season for a loan deal, although nothing came of it at the time.
The 26-year-old has been on the Buccaneers' books for three years since joining from Baroka in 2020, although he has never been able to cement a place under three different coaches.

Having featured in in 13 matches last season, Makgaka has once again found himself out in the cold at the Houghton-based side, making just four appearances under Jose Riveiro in the current campaign.
Makgaka's future at the Soweto giants looks bleak, with Stellies willing to offer him a fresh start. Although it remains to be seen if the two parties agree a deal for the midfielder, albeit on loan.
