Chippa are winless in seven league matches but they have found their joy in the Nedbank Cup against lower league sides after knocking out Polokwane City on penalties and beat ABC Motsepe League outfit Mpheni Home Defenders 2-0 in the last 16.

The Chilli Boys appointed Siyabulela Gwambi as interim coach on Monday but he could not stop a 3-1 defeat to Marumo Gallants, as they remained in the relegation zone.

Sekhukhune, on the other hand, extended their unbeaten run to four matches in the league after edging Maritzburg United 1-0 and got into the top eight last weekend.
