Sundowns restored their 12-point lead on Saturday evening with a 4-1 thrashing of TS Galaxy in Pretoria.
The Brazilians can now move 15 points clear with a win this evening, although Orlando Pirates will have played four games less.
Sekhukhune, meanwhile, got back to winning ways on the weekend after defeating Chippa United 1-0.
The win took Sekhukhune up to third spot and a win this evening could see them move to within three points of second-place Pirates.
Coach Lehlohonolo Seema will be unable to call upon midfielder Sipho Mbule, who is not allowed to play against his parent club.
