Chiefs made it back-to-back wins after defeating Stellenbosch FC in the Nedbank Cup quarter-finals on Saturday evening.
The win came days after the Soweto giants secured a 1-0 win over Magesi FC in the Betway Premiership.
Nasreddine Nabi's charges enter the clash in eighth position, but could climb to fifth spot with a win and other results going their way.
Chiefs will come up against a City side who have failed to win their last eight league matches.
The last of those eight matches ended in a 1-1 draw against TS Galaxy seven days ago.
However, City take comfort from the fact that City defeated Chiefs 1-0 in Muhsin Erturgal's first game in charge of the club in January.
