Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro felt his side did not deserve to end up on the losing side in the Soweto derby on Saturday.
Yusuf Maart's superb goal in the second half guided the AmaKhosi to a 1-0 win at a sold out FNB Stadium.
The Spanish tactician was not happy with how his side started the encounter but did note their improvement in the second half.

"Not the beginning that we expect. Very low rhythm… I don't know the reason why both teams… actually there in the first half," Riveiro told SuperSport TV.
"There was a time where they looked a little bit better – a couple of ball behind our back but it was quite equal first half even though we didn't play the game we were supposed to play today.
"Second half, I think we improved and changed a bit our structure and we managed to control the rhythm of the game much better.
"We played much more time in their half and when the game was a bit better for us in my opinion they scored a beautiful goal and we couldn't change the result anymore," Riveiro added.

When asked if they could have prevented Maart's goal, he replied, "Many things. When you lose obviously you going to find a lot of reasons. There is never one reason why you don't get the result. We need to know and analyse why the game didn't work in the beginning. It's my responsibility so I have to do it and try to help the next time," he said.
An early change from Pirates in the first half had captain Innocent Maela withdrawn and more injury enforced alterations came late on in Goodman Mosele.
"Well, obviously unexpected changes are never welcomed but like I said there's never one reason why you win or lose so we need to analyse everything," he added.
"I don't think we deserved to lose this game. For me, it was very equal with moments for both teams but they were accurate in one action and they did a good job also."
