Mamelodi Sundowns are believed to be closing in on the acquisition of Cape Town City's highly rated technical team member.

The Brazilians have been actively strengthening their technical team following the departure of Rulani Mokwena. The club has appointed Romain Folz as assistant coach, while Steve Komphela has been brought back into the team.
They didn't stop there as they looked at Moroka Swallows where the young Yaraan Valodia, whose father Goolam is a long-term employee of the club, was roped in.

Now Sundowns are understood to be closing in on highly rated Paul Lamb from the Citizens.
Lamb, who works as a performance analyst, has been an important part of City's growth and success over the last few years and now indications are that his work has been recognised by the reigning Premiership champions who are on the verge of snapping him up.
