The club's head coach Molefi Ntseki kept his cool and continued to field the winger and the 30-year-old repaid his faith by scoring two goals against AmaZulu in the previous match on the weekend as Chiefs registered a convincing 3-0 victory to move up the log.
Mmodi has been encouraged to keep on working on improving on his game to help Chiefs even further in the upcoming matches, with the Soweto giants set to visit the Athlone Stadium on Wednesday night for a clash against Stellenbosch FC.
