Here Are Tips For Selected Soccer 6 Matches

The World Cup qualifiers take place this weekend as Norway host the current world champions, Germany at the San Marino Stadium on Sunday. With the home side's poor performance in recent encounters, the Germans will be firm favourites in this qualifying fixture.

The England squad will play their first game under new manager Sam Allardyce and will be hoping to put their disappointed Euro 2016 campaign behind them when they face Slovakia. The two teams actually met in the Euro 2016 group stages and played out a draw.

The Stadion Maksimir will see off a fierce battle between Croatia and Turkey on Monday. With history leaning in favour of Croatia, Turkey will have their work cut out for them if they want to overcome their star-studded opponents.

Croatia v Turkey (World Cup qualifier)

FIFA rankings: Croatia 15th Turkey 19th

Useful facts: Turkey will be out for revenge after their 1–0 loss at the hands of the Croats in the European Championship two months ago. In fact, in their seven meetings over the years, Croatia have emerged victorious on three occasions, losing only once. While Turkey have won three and lost three of their last six games, Croatia's record looks far more favourable in that timeframe, with four wins, including a 10-0 thrashing of San Marino.

Thabo Mngomeni: Tight one, that one… let me give it to Croatia.

Slovakia v England (World Cup qualifier)

FIFA rankings: Slovakia 24th England 13th

Useful facts: Besides having won only two of their last six games, Slovakia only scored 0.8 goals on average per game in the recently concluded European Championship, so England's new coach, Sam Allardyce, won't be particularly worried about how his new defence will shape up in his first game in charge. In addition, of the four games that these sides have played previously, England have won three times, with the other game ending in a draw.

Thabo Mngomeni: England MUST win… they have to!

Norway v Germany (World Cup qualifier)

FIFA rankings:Norway 50th Germany 4th

Useful facts: The world champions take on Norway in what seems to be a pretty straightforward fixture, as Germany have won 13 and drawn five of their 19 matches against the Scandinavians. Only one win for the Norwegians will not help their confidence, especially considering their two losses in their last three games.

Thabo Mngomeni: I'll go for Germany.
