Here Are Tips For Selected Soccer 6 Matches

After a disappointing league opener for Steve Komphela's Kaizer Chiefs, they will be hoping to turn their fortunes around as they travel to the Cape Town Stadium for their MTN8 fixture against Cape Town City FC on Friday evening. The new Cape side are on a high as they bagged their first three points and will hope to follow it up with another result.

Last season's Bundesliga champions, Bayern Munich will host Werder Bremen in the opening round at the Allianz Arena on Friday evening. With a star-studded Munich team playing at their home ground, it will be a tough task for Bremen to come away with any points.

Cape Town City v Kaizer Chiefs (MTN8)

2015/16 league rankings: Cape Town City (Aces) 4th Kaizer Chiefs 5th

Useful facts: In the 10 previous fixtures between the team formerly known as Mpumalanga Black Aces and Amakhosi, Kaizer Chiefs won seven games, with Aces (now Cape Town City) having only won once. In those games, an average of 2.3 goals were scored. However, Chiefs failed to win nine of their last ten matches in the league and didn't manage to score in four of them, which resulted in Aces leapfrogging them on the table last season. This makes the game tough to predict, but there will no doubt be a weight of expectation on both sides.

Ian Chikhowa: That'll be a draw. After extra time, Kaizer Chiefs.

Bayern Munich v Werder Bremen (Bundesliga)

2015/16 league rankings: Bayern Munich 1st Werder Bremen 13th

Useful facts: The Bundesliga gets underway on Friday, with last season's champions playing host to Werder Bremen. Carlo Ancelotti's team have won all of their last six games against Bremen, scoring 23 times and conceding only twice. They have also won 16 of their last 18 home games, so even the most optimistic Bremen fans will surely not see this result going their way.

Ian Chikhowa: Bayern Munich.
