Cape Town City coach Eric Tinkler has provided an important update on attacker Khanyisa Mayo.
Mayo has been a notable absentee from the Citizens' line-ups in their last three matches as Tinkler and the team have been working on improving their club's position on the DStv Premiership log.

The 24-year-old striker, who has scored four goals and bagged two assists so far in the campaign for the Mother City outfit, got injured against SuperSport United last month and has since missed matches against Orlando Pirates, Chippa United and TS Galaxy respectively.
However, with City set to take on Stellenbosch FC in the Western Cape derby this evening, Mayo is expected to make the long-awaited return for Tinkler's side, having finished the week training with the rest of his teammates.

"Khanyisa had his first training session on Thursday (last week). When I say training, (he's been) back with a full team (and) came through it no issues," Tinkler told journalists last week.
