Rockstar Games seem to have extended their footprint after reports that they have purchased Ruffian Games.
The developers of one of the world's most successful games, Grand Theft Auto, will rebrand their acquisition to Rockstar Dundee.
According to IGN, "a series of Companies House listings confirming the acquisition and name change."
Ruffian Games were responsible for Crackdown 2, and was co-founded by studio head Gary Liddon and Creative Director Billy Thomson over a decade ago.
The Ruffian Games Twitter account revealed in October last year that they had been working on "unspecified titles for Rockstar Games" but it seems that they will now be absorbed into the major publisher.
Ruffian Games worked on a range of titles in the past, including Crackdown 3, Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Kinect Star Wars.
