You don't need legs to play football, Rocket League uses cars instead. If you're not among the millions of players that have used vehicles to play football in this physics-based game, then now is the time to dive in.
Rocket League burst onto the scene on PlayStation 4 almost five years ago now, and has received incredible support from developers Psyonix since launch.
In celebration of the fifth anniversary of the game, there will be a host of new cosmetic items for players. Completing matches will also allow you to earn balloons, and you can use these to purchase new items.

Added to this, two limited time modes will be available for players to try out. First is Spike Rush, which sees spikes decorating the outside of all cars, causing the ball to stick to them.
Then there is the Heatseeker mode (2v2), which is essentially a game of pong, as opposed to traditional football. These modes will be available for two weeks, starting on 30 June 2020.
If you've never tried Rocket League before and are intrigued by the concept of playing football with remote controlled cars, then check out the original announcement trailer from a few years back.
