Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) 2021 Season Update launched this week and cover star, Lionel Messi, got a fitting tribute in the launch trailer.

The Barcelona superstar is widely regarded as possibly the greatest player ever, and the PES 2021 trailer looks back at his rise to fame.
Although PES 2021 is more of an update of last year's game than a completely new title, it has still received favourable reviews on Metacritic.
The PS4 version has received six critic reviews with an average of 75 out of 100, though it is worth noting that besides squad updates and some gameplay tweaks, it is still largely the same as PES 2020.
Konami stated ahead of launch that a lot of their efforts were focused on creating PES for the next-generation of consoles.
Both Sony and Microsoft's new consoles will arrive in November this year, but there is no indication as to when we will see Konami's football title arrive on the platforms.
