EA Sports To Reintroduce Mason Greenwood?

EA Sports To Reintroduce Mason Greenwood?

With rumours circulating that EA Sports may be gearing up to re-integrate Mason Greenwood into EA FC 24, did they unknowingly reveal Manchester United's initial stance on the youngster?

Check it out...

What's the story?

EA Sports could be set to re-integrate Mason Greenwood into their upcoming EA FC 24 game after he was removed from FIFA amid a court case and an internal investigation at Manchester United.

Greenwood hasn't played since January 2022 and if the rumours of his addition to EA's next big video game franchise are anything to go by, the US game publishers might've pre-empted Man United's rumoured initial decision to bring back the 21-year-old.

Let's take a closer look...

Did EA expose United's decision on Greenwood?

Before Mason Greenwood and Manchester United mutually agreed that he will leave the club after a six-month investigation into his abuse allegations, the Red Devils reportedly had plans to re-introduce him into the first team set-up under Erik ten Hag.

Rumours of Man United's plans to re-welcome Greenwood were circulated heavily last week Friday and was met with heavy fan backlash.

This is around the same time leakers on Twitter revealed that EA Sports are planning to add the Englishman into their next game, EA FC 24.

The Red Devils' final decision on Greenwood will likely see him return to professional football elsewhere in the world, having previously been linked to other clubs in Europe and Saudi Arabia, meaning that he could be back in favour to feature in the upcoming and future EA FC 24 games.

Greenwood hasn't kicked a ball since early 2022 and was removed from EA's FIFA title the same month.

The footballer was suspended after being taken to court amid charges that included allegations of attempted rape, engaging in controlling behaviour, and assault.

Greenwood's court case was dropped in February, and according to @_ReFIFA, EA has potentially started the process of adding his data back into their games, including face scans.
