The Siya crew has been led to believe that TS Galaxy are looking at the possibility of signing dribbling wizard Surprise Ralani.
The veteran attacker has been without a club since parting ways with Mamelodi Sundowns at the end of June. Weirdly, there has been no official word from either the club or the player confirming his exit, although his contract came to an end in June, all of three months ago.
Now, the latest news reaching this publication is that the Rockets are considering a move for the Kimberley-born star on a short-term deal.
"Galaxy are believed to be interested in signing him. He is a free agent, and he is currently based in Joburg where Galaxy train, although they play their matches in Mpumalanga," a source told Soccer Laduma.
The 35-year-old spent one-and-a-half seasons on the books of the Brazilians having been signed from Cape Town City in January 2022. Despite being a key part of the club's plans for the CAF Champions League at the time, the intense competition for places, coupled with spells on the treatment table, ultimately saw Ralani lose his grip on a starting berth at the Chloorkop-based outfit, though he still remained a huge fan-favourite for his wizardry on the ball.
The Stars of Africa graduate made 29 appearances for the star-studded side, scoring six goals and laying on three assists in that time.
