He may be less than a year into his spell with Kaizer Chiefs, but the Siya Crew understands that the future of Tebogo Potsane is uncertain at Naturena.
The player joined Amakhosi this season from Royal AM and is yet to make an impact, struggling with injury and game time.
Potsane signed a three-year deal with the Soweto giants after leaving Royal AM, which is meant to keep him at the club until June 2026.
There is, however, no guarantee that he will see out his contract with the club, with his future believed to be uncertain at the moment.
Since joining Amakhosi, Potsane has made 11 appearances in all competitions, contributing with two assists. He is yet to feature for the club in 2024 and there are growing concerns of when he will return to line-up to show management what he can do on the pitch.
It's believed that Amakhosi management are looking into which players they want to keep and who they should let go over and indications are that there is a consideration being made on the future of Potsane, which could either come to an agreement for separation or be placed on the transfer list for clubs to make an offer to purchase.
Should the player leave Amakhosi at the end of the season, it would not be the first time Chiefs parts ways with a player before the end of a contract in recent years.
The likes of Caleb Bimenyimana and Cole Alexander had their contracts ended before expiration.
