As reported by the Siya crew, Rushwin Dortley is being courted by a number of clubs in the DStv Premiership, with Stellenbosch FC now emerging as the frontrunners to land his signature.
Even before he kicked a ball in the elite division, Dortley was already being courted by a number of teams both locally and abroad.
Whilst in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, he underwent a trial period with Danish giants Nordsjælland, while Kaizer Chiefs were keen on his services locally.
While neither move materialized for the defender at the time, he returned to Cape Town Spurs, whom he would help gain promotion to the DStv Premiership. With 28 appearances in all competitions, the most of any Spurs player, it's clear why the 22-year-old is in such high demand locally.
Now, the latest news reaching the Siya crew's desk is that next season's CAF Confederation Cup participants Stellenbosch are leading the race for his services.
The Winelands outfit are believed to have expressed their interest formally, though it remains to be seen if they can match Spurs' evaluation of the player, which according to sources is quite hefty.
