Ofori became a free agent at the end of June after parting ways with Orlando Pirates at the end of his contract.

There was talk of a possible move to Kaizer Chiefs for the experienced goalkeeper but that has since become unlikely after the Soweto giants signed Fiacre Ntwari from TS Galaxy.
Ofori has spent the past few weeks training on his own, while his handlers have been assessing options, with indications that the 30-year-old could be open to leaving Mzansi in his next move should a right offer comes his way.

"He (Ofori) has been training on his own and working hard to get back to his best after spending some time without playing regularly. He is not limited to the PSL in his search for a new club, and there could be a possibility of him going to the Middle East as well," said the source.
In 2022, as Ofori was playing at Pirates, he was linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, with sources at the time indicating that an unnamed Saudi Pro League side had been following his progress.
