Kaizer Chiefs striker Ranga Chivaviro is appearing to be raring to go ahead of the new season and there could be a reason for his improved showing, according to insiders.
Chiefs have spent the past three weeks in Turkiye where the team had their pre-season camp and Chivaviro has been one of the outstanding players.

As the players were being taken through their paces under new coach Nasreddine Nabi and his technical team, Chivaviro raised his hand to show his readiness in what is expected to be an improved season for Amakhosi with performances and results after the disappointment of last season where the team finished 10th on the log.
During Chiefs' friendly game on Saturday in Istanbul, Turkey, Chivaviro scored four goals as Amakhosi defeated Qatari Second Division outfit Al Shahaniya 5-2 to the delight of the supporters at home in Mzansi.
The 31-year-old is said to be motivated to improve in his second season with the Glamour Boys after a difficult first year with only four goals and one assist in 23 appearances across all competitions.
"He is determined to do well, and he has been working hard. It will be good for him to have a good season because there is a lot at stake. He needs to do well and have a good season for his future with the club," said the source.

Chivaviro has entered the last year of his contract, having penned a two-year deal when he joined from Marumo Gallants last year, although the Soweto giants do have an option to extend the deal for another year.
Meanwhile, Chiefs' supporters will be hoping to see Chivaviro and teammates at their best on Sunday when they take on Tanzanian giants Young Africans in the Toyota Cup at the Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein.
