After falling short in their pursuit of Stellenbosch FC midfielder Jayden Adams, Orlando Pirates are now believed to be interested in signing a Cape Town City midfielder, the Siya crew has been informed.
Insiders close to the club indicated that the Buccaneers are believed to have been monitoring Jaedin Rhodes' progress with the possibility of signing him in future.

The Siya sources stated that Pirates were targeting the January transfer window for Rhodes, but with the deal not materializing, they are now looking at the next transfer window."He (Rhodes) has been one of their (Pirates') targets for some time now. They have been monitoring him though there hasn't been much happening. They were targeting him for the January transfer window period. Now that it didn't happen they have more time to work on it and will see what happens in the next window. But they are interested in him. That I can tell you," the Siya source stated.

A second insider mentioned that Pirates would likely release or loan out players to accommodate Rhodes in the next transfer window.
"Obviously, they will either loan some out or release some as well. But that's the time they need to work on their squad and since it didn't happen in January then they will work on it in the off season. Rhodes is one player on that list already, " the second insider stated.
The 21-year-old midfielder has been actively participating with the Citizens this season, featuring consistently in Betway Premiership matches. Soccer Laduma contacted Pirates for comment but the club had not responded by the time the this report was published.
