Now that they have successfully wrapped up their 2023/24 season with the Nedbank Cup, Orlando Pirates are understood to have turned their focus to the future of Relebohile Mofokeng, which is at the top of the club's list of priorities, the Siya crew understands.

Mofokeng's rise to prominence in his first full season as a professional appears to have taken everyone, including Pirates by surprise.
The Buccaneers had to fend off strong competition from Mamelodi Sundowns for his services from the Transnet School of Excellence in 2023, to have him form part of their DStv Diski Team where he would spend just six months.
The latter parts of the 2022/23 season were spent slowly integrating the teenager into the Pirates first team before he eventually became a fully-fledged member of the Buccaneers first team.
Mofokeng would go on to establish himself as an integral part of coach Jose Riveiro's plans, which was highlighted by his winning goal scored in their 2-1 win over Mamelodi Sundowns at the Mbombela Stadium.
He made 38 appearances in total scoring five goals and setting up five assists.
Insiders have informed the crew that Mofokeng's contract at the club had not been seen as a priority given that he was a youth player – but that has changed with the player's stock continuing to rise.
According to the insider Pirates have turned their attention to the 19-year-old's contract with the club, which is understood to see a significant change in it, with better terms tabled by the Buccaneers.
Not only are the Buccaneers understood to be tying down the Vaal-born star, but they want to reward the player for his efforts this campaign.
Whispers of a new five-year contract has been doing the rounds, though talks are believed to be underway.
Soccer Laduma contacted Pirates for comment but the club had not responded by the time this report was published.
