Former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Sibusiso Kumalo has signed a new contract with Marumo Gallants, the Siya crew has been informed.
Following the club's relegation from the DStv Premiership at the end of last season, several changes have taken place at the Limpopo outfit, including selling players to the big guns, while others were allowed to move on at the end of their contracts.
With the likes of Ranga Chivaviro, Lesiba Nku and Katlego Otladisa having been sold to Kaizer Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates respectively, and stars such as Mahlatse Makudubela and Washington Arubi were allowed to leave, Bahlabane Ba Ntwa managed to hold on to Kumalo on a new oneyear contract.
"Sibusiso Kumalo has signed a new one-year contract with Marumo Gallants. The previous deal expired in June and there was talk of the player going back to Moroka Swallows, where it all started for him in his professional career, but Gallants managed to convince him otherwise. Everyone was happy in the end," said a source.
