As previously reported by the Siya crew, Lesotho first-choice goalkeeper Sekhoane Moerane is a target of several PSL big guns after impressing while on national duty for the recent 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
The 26-year-old has always been a player for the big occasions as he saved a penalty on his debut when the then Thabo Senong coached Lesotho played a 1-all draw against Malawi in a friendly match in 2019.
The LMPS FC star stamped his authority as one of the best goalkeepers in the region during the 2023 edition of the COSAFA Cup, where in the semifinals, he saved all of Malawi's penalties to help Lesotho clinch victory Flames to reach the final.
His impressive displays for Likuena, as the Lesotho national team is affectionately known, have worn him the captain armband for his country, a role handed to him in September against the star-studded Ivory Coast in the Afcon qualifiers, where they lost 1-0.
Speaking on the reports linking him with a move to South Africa, the net minder said he is flattered to know that he has clubs in a big league monitoring his progress.
"It's a big motivation for me to have established that I have clubs in other leagues monitoring my progress," he stated, speaking exclusively to the Siya crew.
"I'm really humbled and its pushing me to work harder on my game so that I become a better player," added Moerane.
