"What the club has decided on their recruitment policy is to try and sign as much players as possible who are not in demand from their local rivals. On many occasions when they are competing with other local teams they end up not signing those players. Now that's why they have reignited the pursuit of Luke Le Roux. He is a South African but currently playing in Europe and they believe they stand a better chance of signing him," the insider told the Siya crew.
A second source stated that the club is expected to be preparing for a significant overhaul at the start of next season, aligning with coach Nasreddine Nabi's rebuilding process.

"For them to bring in most of the players they are looking at and targeting, they need some players if not most players to leave. Something like an overhaul. This could be mainly in the attacking areas though the goalkeeping and defence could also be affected (to a certain extent). That's what they are working on now to balance the club in terms of playing personal but also the wage balance as well," the second source stated.
Le Roux, currently in Sweden, has played a few games for IFK Varnamo this season. He may choose to remain in Europe to gradually adapt to the football abroad, or it remains to be seen if he would prefer to return to South Africa. In recent times, a few players have chosen to play in the PSL where it's arguably easier to catch the eye of Bafana coach Hugo Broos.
