The camp of Luke Fleurs, who has been training with Kaizer Chiefs for the last few weeks, is hopeful that the player will land a contract at Naturena.
Fresh after terminating his three-and-a-half-year deal with SuperSport United, Fleurs began training with the Soweto giants in hopes of securing employment at arguably the country's most-supported side.
As reported by the Siya crew, the Glamour Boys did express an interest in the player back in the 2021/22 season and now the club has an opportunity to have the former DStv Premiership Young Player of the Season on their books, on a free deal.
Siya sources spotted Fleurs at Amakhosi's last match before the international break, which was against Cape Town City, the 1-0 loss at the FNB Stadium.
After further digging by this publication, it has emerged that the 23-year-old's camp is confident of landing a contract with the Molefi Ntseki-led outfit, with insiders close to the situation of the view that a deal is now imminent.
A number of clubs were monitoring the Ubuntu Cape Town graduate's situation, although it now appears he will make Naturena his permanent home for the foreseeable future.
