Kaizer Chiefs may have to look beyond Togolese striker Yawo Agbagno in their search of more signings, the Siya crew has been informed.
Agbagno, a 24-year-old centre-forward who is playing for AS OTR (Association Sportive de l'Office Togolais des Recettes) back home, emerged as one of the latest players to have been linked with Amakhosi.

With Chiefs aiming to finalise preparations before their first match of the season against Marumo Gallants on September 14 as confirmed in the fixtures released by the PSL today, Agbagno has been one of the options for the Soweto giants after he was recently offered to the club.
As reported by the Siya crew, sources have indicated that Agbagno will have to fit into Chiefs' system for him to be signed, with the club understood to be considering evaluating him first.
Latest information received by this publication is that there might be doubts about the forward at this stage as he has not been a primary target, with Nabi believed to be still looking around and using his extensive networking in African football and experience to search for more talent ahead of the September 20 transfer window deadline.

"Yes, Chiefs are in search of players, and the striking department is one of the areas that coach Nabi is keen on strengthening. I am aware of the player you are enquiring about, and I have heard of the link with Chiefs, but what I can tell you is that there are other players that the coach prioritised," said the source.
"Fiston Mayele, the Congolese forward, is one of the players that the coach wanted to have, and I would say his options are open for now on who to bring. It seems like the coach has his doubts about the Togolese striker at this moment on how different he might be to the players he already has in the squad," the insider added.
