For some time, Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates have been linked with Bafana Bafana winger Pule Mmodi and that hasn't changed as the 2022/23 season has just ended.
Mmodi has been one of the top performers for Abafana Bes'thende in the three seasons that he has been with the club, which has resulted in him attracting interest from clubs in the DStv Premiership.

With the 30-year-old's contract with the KwaZulu-Natal outfit set to expire at the end of the month, indications from insiders are that he is unlikely to renew the deal, with a move to Gauteng a big possibility for him.
"He (Mmodi) is unlikely to stay with Arrows, and as I am talking to you, he is as good as gone. Chiefs could be a possible destination for him when he leaves Arrows, although Pirates are also in the picture," said the source.
"The boy is focused on his duties with Bafana Bafana for now and once he is done there he will be heading to Bloemfontein for the off-season and by that time I'm sure there will have been progress regarding his next move," the source concluded.
Mmodi scored six goals and provided three assists from 29 league matches for Arrows this past season.
