The Siya crew had previously reported a potential plot twist as Ranga Chivaviro might end up at Kaizer Chiefs instead of rivals Orlando Pirates.
The former Marumo Gallants player could reportedly belong to Richards Bay after signing a pre-contract with the KwaZulu-Natal club. So, now, according to Siya sources Amakhosi could involve a deal that includes player swaps.

A Siya source very close to the matter has stated that Chiefs may approach the Natal Rich Boyz with the aim of signing Chivaviro in exchange for Thabani Austin Dube, Bonfils Caleb Bimenyimana and an additional payment.
The source added that Richards Bay are yet to make a decision regarding Chivaviro.
"It's a complicated matter, but it seems Chiefs are understanding it and they are talking to Richards Bay with the sole aim of negotiating to sign Chivaviro from them," said the Siya source.
"They have proposed that since Richards Bay are interested in getting back Thabani Dube, they will give them Dube and also Caleb (Bimenyimana) plus money on top of that. It's only the two teams who understand each other and what's going on.
"But that's the situation right now. Chiefs want Chivaviro from Richards Bay even though he hasn't played a game for them yet. It's strange but its happening. I tell you!" said the source.
At the moment, Chivaviro, who is one of the most sought after players in the PSL, and the most talked about striker, scored 17 goals in all competitions last season including the CAF Confederation Cup.
In Africa, Gallants were knocked out in the semifinals by Young Africans of Tanzania.
When called for comment, Richards Bay General Manager James Dlamini responded in the following way.
"We have left the Chairman to handle these discussions as the Chairman made it clear that Ranga signed for us in January," Dlamini said.
The Siya crew then contacted Chairman Jomo Biyela but his phone went unanswered at the time of preparing this story.
Kaizer Chiefs have not responded to the details of the transfer speculation.
