Possible Chiefs Exits In January

Possible Chiefs Exits In January

With the January transfer window looming, there are a few players at Kaizer Chiefs who have a good chance of making an exit.

Indications are that Amakhosi are going to add a new face or two to bolster Nasreddine Nabi's squad and this is likely to see some other players who do not feature in the coach's plans making an exit.

High on the list of possible exits, the Siya crew believes, are Zitha Kwinika and Tebogo Potsane, two players who are yet to make competitive appearances for the Soweto giants this season.

Kwinika's contract with the club is meant to expire at the end of the season and a decision on his future will be made. There is also a chance, though, that the player could see out his contract and then decide on the next steps of his career.

Indications are that Marumo Gallants are looking at the possibility of signing Potsane and there is a chance that the club could look to secure his services on loan for the second half of the campaign.

Another player who has an uncertain future at the club is Mduduzi Mdantsane, who has not featured in the first team this season, having struggled with injury.

Midfielder Sibongiseni Mthethwa was linked with a move away from Naturena and it was believed that a January move was possible, but he has recently been getting opportunities in the starting line-up. A move has now been ruled out for Mthethwa, as Nabi sees him as someone who can play a role in the team for the rest of the season.
