Franco oversaw three games with the club this season, all three ending in disappointing defeat.
Polokwane City, Marumo Gallants and Kaizer Chiefs would all claim three points from Usuthu, leaving them rooted to the bottom of the table, with Orlando Pirates the next test for the KwaZulu-Natal based club.
The 44-year-old former Simba SC coach was appointed in July last year and oversaw 39 matches in charge of AmaZulu with his record standing at 12 wins, 12 draws and 15 losses.
