"They are believed to have apparently enquired about Pirates goalkeeper Ethan (Visagie). They are preparing to find a replacement for Stanley (Nwabali) when he leaves at the end of the season. Yes, he hasn't played official games for Pirates but the scouts who know him have recommended him to Chippa United that he could be a good and perfect replacement for Nwabali. So, for now, there is nothing concluded yet but the interest is there," the source told the Siya crew.
A second insider explained that Pirates are open to the idea of a loan move for Visagie, allowing him to gain valuable game time.

The 23-year-old Visagie was signed from NC Profession at the start of the current season and is yet to feature for the senior team but has turned out in the DStv Diski Challenge. Chippa United, keen to strengthen their goalkeeping department, see him as a promising option to fill a void that could be left by Nwabali's potential departure.
If Visagie does join Chippa, the Bucs keeper could then be paving the way for Nwabali to move to rivals, Amakhosi. Though, it remains to be seen if the Super Eagles stopper would instead transfer to a club abroad.
Soccer Laduma reached out to Chippa United for comment but had not received a response at the time of publication.
