Former Kaizer Chiefs coach Cavin Johnson has emerged as a candidate for a coaching job in Africa, the Siya crew has been informed.
Johnson has been without a club since parting ways with Amakhosi in July this year, having been at the helm at Chiefs as interim coach since October last year.

News reaching the Siya crew is that Malawian top flight club Mighty Mukuru Wanderers FC are showing interest in the former Al Ahly assistant coach.
Wanderers are currently without a head coach following the recent departure of Meke Mwase whose contract was terminated for allegedly failing to report for duty last month.

As part of the plans to assemble a strong technical team to lead the side to challenge for honours, the Blantyre-based outfit has identified Johnson as the man to potentially do the job for them, among other coaches that have been earmarked.
"Cavin Johnson is one of the coaches that have been discussed by the club after he was offered by the people who represent him in South Africa. The club is interested although there is no formal offer on the table at the moment. It is a very good club in Malawi which is one of the top three in the league," said the source.
