Brandon Truter is closer to making a return to the Premiership, having received the blessing of his current club, Upington City, the Siya crew has been informed.
Since April, Truter has been with the Northern Cape-based club after being appointed technical director.

Following the changes at Richards Bay FC this week, after Vusumuzi Vilakazi was relieved of his duties as the club's head coach, 'Brakkies' has emerged as a favourite to replace the former Golden Arrows player.
According to sources, Truter is closer to making a return to the top flight with the KwaZulu-Natal outfit he previously coached between July 2018 and September 2019.

Sources have added that Truter has been granted permission to leave the Motsepe Foundation Championship side and now looks set to take over at Richards Bay, with an announcement imminent.
The Cape Town-born mentor was last in the top flight with Sekhukhune United between November 2022 and November 2023.
