As previously reported by the Siya crew, Truter has been facing an uncertain future with the Durban-based side, following the team's loss against Richards Bay FC on Wednesday.

AmaZulu are in ninth place on the DStv Premiership log after three wins from nine matches and the team has lost four times and collected 11 points.
A high level source inside the Durban-based club has confirmed to the Siya crew that the Cape Town-born tactician has been relieved of his duties as head coach.

Despite the team's disappointing results in the league, Truter did manage to guide the side past the quarterfinals of the MTN8.
The KZN giants drew their first leg semi-final match 1-1 against Kaizer Chiefs last weekend and will hope to advance to the final under the new coach who will take over the reigns.
After the Siya crew received information of Truter's exit, AmaZulu have since issued a statement confirming the latest developments.
"AmaZulu Football Club would like to announce that it has parted ways with head coach Brandon Truter. The 52-year-old was in charge of the team for just over five months. He impressed since taking over the reins following the departure of Benni McCarthy in March. However, the current season has proved to be difficult and the team has recorded just three DStv Premiership wins. Truter's record is as follows: 19 games, seven wins, seven draws and five losses. We thank him for his cooperation and hard work for the club and wish him luck in his future career," confirmed the club in a statement.
