The Siya crew has been led to believe that AmaZulu coach Brandon Truter is skating on thin ice, with indications that the club management looks set to assess the future of the mentor.
Usuthu were beaten 1-0 by KZN rivals Richards Bay at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Wednesday evening and the Siya crew has been informed that Truter's defensive style of play, which was evident in their 1-1 draw with Kaizer Chiefs in the MTN8 semi-final on Sunday, is a concern.

According to sources, the club believes that Truter should be getting positive results after going into the market to get players such as Gabadinho Mhango, Dumisani Zuma, George Maluleka, Ethan Brooks and Augustine Kwem, but the club has dropped out of the top eight, with a big clash against Amakhosi in the second leg semi-final to be played later this month.
With management understood to have backed Truter in the transfer market with quality players, it is believed that the club has ambitions to compete with the big guns at the summit of the standings.
